Rob and Cathy Dow live on the property and have owned and operated Maplegate Farm for almost 40 years. Both have ridden and shown since their junior years and remain passionate supporters of the horse industry including owning, training and showing hunters and jumpers. 

Rob and Cathy's daughter, Alex assists with training and riding at Maplegate and Terranova Farms. She helps with preparing the horses and teaching lessons tailored to the learning style of the student and needs of the horse.

Cathy is a USEF "R" rated judge and feels that her judging helps her keep current with the ever changing horse world of hunters and jumpers. Cathy is a past president of the NCHJA and serves on the board of BRCHS and the USHJA Zone 3 committee.
